Why do I need to verify my profile?

We do not tolerate fake profiles. If you don't verify your photos with a selfie, your profile won't be visible to anyone. If you really connect with someone, what's the point of lying if they turn out to be completely different when you meet them face to face? Seriously... at INYN we are very strict about this. So forget about endless beauty filters and Photoshop. Being natural, inside and out, always wins.

How does compatibility work?

Based on the information you enter in your profile (your lifestyle, your day-to-day life, or the things you identify with most in life), INYN calculates what you have in common with other people and shows you only the most compatible people. You won't find any complicated algorithms or anything like that in INYN. Good things, when short, are twice as good.

What are the likes for?

You will need likes to unlock information about the profile you have encountered with. At first, you will be able to unlock tastes. The more tastes you unlock the more of their photo you will be able to see.

How do I use the likes?

You have to go to the other person’s profile and use 5 likes to unlock each of their tastes.

What does the number in each taste badge means?

That number indicates the total amount of favourites the other person has filled inside that taste. This way you will know which taste will give you more information about that profile. For example, if you see a '3' in Gastronomy, you can find out their three favourite styles of cuisine, such as Thai, Fusion or Mediterranean.

Why does the colour of a taste icon change?

Before you unlock a taste, it will appear empty of colour. Once unlocked, it will have the background colour of the app, this way you will know every time you enter in the other person’s tastes, which ones you have already unlocked and which ones you haven’t.

One taste doesn’t have neither number

That means the other person hasn’t marked any option in that taste.

Can I recover a new profile that I have accidentally rejected?

We regret to inform you that it is not possible to retrieve a profile once you have rejected it. However, it is possible that the same profile will appear soon. Keep your fingers crossed.

How do I report someone?

You can only report someone that you have already encountered with. Go to their profile, hit the top right icon and select “Report user”. When you select this option, their profile will disappear from your encounters list.

One of my encounters disappeared

It seems that person either deleted you or deleted their account. Try logging out and back in just to be sure.

I don’t have any encounters

If nobody is returning your requests to have a INYN encounter, try our tips to improve your profile. It may be possible your profile is not enough completed.

Can I message someone I haven’t encountered with?

To chat with somebody, the willing has to be mutual, so you won’t be able to chat with someone who didn’t want to meet you. Remember this app works in real time, so it doesn’t keep people waiting for you or you waiting for someone. You will find people any time you want and only when you want.

My messages are not going through

Please make sure your internet connection is working properly. If you’re using an iPhone, double tap the “Home” button, and swipe INYN up to force quit the app. On Android: Go to ‘Settings’, go to ‘Apps’, select INYN, hit ‘force quit’, then open INYN again. You can also try restarting your phone and reinstalling the app.

How do I change my profile photo?

You can always change your photo profile. Just go to your profile, tap edit, and you will be able to upload a new photo. For the moment you can only add one photo to your INYN profile, in future updates you will be able to have a photo-gallery.

I can’t upload my photo

Make sure you have the latest version of INYN. Try hard closing the app: If you’re using an iPhone, double tap the “Home” button, and swipe INYN up to force quit the app. On Android: Go to ‘Settings’, go to ‘Apps’, select INYN, hit ‘force quit’, then open INYN again. You can also try restarting your phone and reinstalling the app. If the issue persists, try logging out and logging back in.

How do I edit my profile?

Go to edit profile, hit the menu icon on the top right hand corner, there you will be able to edit everything about your profile.

How do I change my name or my age?

This is easy, just go to settings and edit your data.

How do I change my Lifestyle, page tastes and my status?

Hit the menu icon on the top right hand corner, there you will be able to edit everything about your profile.

Can I send a photo to a person?

You can't send photos to users, remember this app is for you to play and discover, we don’t want to save you that pleasure!

Why does INYN need to access my camera?

INYN will only need access to your camera roll when you want to become your profile verified and when you want to upload your profile photo by taking a photo instantly.

Will I lose my encounter if I delete the app?

As long as you don't delete your account, deleting the app won't delete your encounter or messages.

I can’t change my settings

Make sure you have the latest version of INYN. If the issue persists, please try again in a few hours.

I can’t log in

Make sure you have the latest version of INYN. Open INYN and try logging out and logging back in. You can also try force quitting the app. Make sure you are not introducing a wrong email address or password. You can request for a new password and we will send it to you. You can also try deleting INYN from your phone, downloading it again and reinstalling it. As long as you don’t delete your account, this won’t delete your existing encounter and messages.

The app keeps crashing

Make sure you have the latest version of INYN and try hard closing the app: If you’re using an iPhone, double tap the “Home” button, and swipe INYN up to force quit the app. On Android: Go to ‘Settings’, go to ‘Apps’, select INYN, hit ‘force quit’, then open INYN again. You can also try restarting your phone and reinstalling the app. As long as you don't delete your account you won't lose your encounter or messages.

How do I delete my account?

For security purposes, if you want to delete your account, you’ll need to do it directly on the app. If you eliminate your account, it will be permanent, so we want to be sure you really want to do it. We will completely eliminate your account in 14 days. If you change your mind during that time, just log in with your email address and it will be activated again automatically. Once you decide to eliminate it permanently, you will lose your encounter, messages and all other information associated with your account. If you deleted the app, download the app again. To delete your account, navigate to the Settings panel, select App Settings and select Delete Account. Bear in mind, during the 14 days after you delete your account, if you log in again you will have the same user. If you try to login after those 14 days, we will create a whole new account for you. Remember that deleting the app does not delete your account.
